So, how do these murged airchecks work? What happens is I record several hours of a station, then divide it up into equal-length segments, usually around 5 minutes. If there are two files that meet the criteria I set for the beginning and end of airchecks that are about an hour apart, I murge all files between those two into one aircheck, which gets posted here. Some of the airchecks don’t meet that requirement though, so they don’t get posted. Although I had to do a little editing on the end of this clip, I made it work, and here it is. If you’re wondering, I listen to these airchecks while working on the computer. Next week, we start what looks to be our final trip up the fm dial with stations recorded off the air.
